Gabe was in attendance for the meeting with NY Ranger head coach Bryan Trottier and writes about it here. I'm not giving away the whole thing if I say that Gabe was impressed with our new coach... am I ?

Honestly, I don't think I've looked forward to a hockey season with so much passion as I am this year. Yeah, I knew '94 was going to be special but this season comes after five no shows in the spring. Yes....we could be in for a huge letdown with such lofty expectations (I'm looking at a cup final) but that's what being a Ranger fan is all about isn't it ?
