As you all know by now, Mark Messier has signed in time for camp. I am reading a wide variety of opinions on this but one thing sticks out, this was all done before the season started. That means no distractions from the job at hand.
The locals....Newsday, Daily News and the NY Times.
Larry Brooks from the Post ignores Messier to concentrate on Dvo who is not signed yet.
National stuff on Mess....ESPN, USA Today and CNNSI.

I looked all over for Messier's salary for this season; I wanted to know if I would be disgusted; haha! If you know; could you give me the amount? thanks birdie ;-)
