First, let me express my thanks to the guys on my team who played one whale of a game last night. Every puck was contended for, each goal was earned and there was some nasty play, a few penalties and some good contact. I let in one more than the other keeper so we lost but man o man.....that was hockey.

That's what I say in my games and everyone gets pissed at me . "Am I just supposed to let you stand in the crease and take shots? What do you think is going to happen when you try to come across the middle?"
Posted by: Ethan on September 24, 2002 11:14 AMI took two for slashing but it was more of a hard trip than anything else. Not only did the guys help kill it off, they popped a shorty.
I gave up the winner after getting run over in the crease. I compressed some vertebrae in my neck and felt weak all over. The next nasty shot knocked the stick from my hand and they managed to slip one by with only two minutes to go. But I love the rough stuff so no complaining from me about it. I think I may go get x-rays though. I'm more than sore. you don't want to screw around with the spinal column eh !
