Well, by now you have heard that Pavel Bure is out for the year with a torn left ACL in his knee. This has not been officially announced by the Rangers, but both the Daily News and the Post are reporting this.
Today the Rangers face Boston at 1 pm. Like you, I have to watch.....and something tells me that they'll win today. But a sixth spring without the playoffs has to be on everyones mind. That's not to say the Rangers can't win games without Bure.....they haven't been so great with him. What happens in his absense can go a few different ways......Lundmark or some other kids could get called up, Slats could try and pull off a deal or they could just sit pat.
Rocha has suggested that the Rangers abandon the run and gun style for a more trap like style and tighten it up, hoping for 2-1, 3-2 wins. I think he's right. It seems the Rodent agrees with Rocha too.

Oh, one more thing.....if you are dissapointed in ESPN, read the latest Birdcage. Our buddy John Buccigross no longer writes for ESPN.com and we're not happy about it.
