Buried Alive
Monday - February 17, 2003
In work and in snow. Here's a quick tour of the locals... NY Post: Pavel returning tonight? Goalies competing for the top spot? Times: Lindros may return to center this evening in Ottawa. Newsday: Sather takes verbal shots at Lindros and Leetch. An amateur game played over the weekend to benefit Hockey Fights Cancer ended with the Blue team defeating the White team by a score of 650-628. Oh, did I mention that the game was 80 hours long? -Chris Posted by Chris S at February 17, 2003 10:30 AMeMail this entry! Comments
I said good luck to Lindros at the hotel Saturday afternoon. He was very aloof and didn't seem happy. Let's hope he's back centering for the Rocket. Holik didn't have a great game either. Barnaby was just okay. It was a good game to watch and at least the Rangers didn't lie down. They fought back. Too bad they didn't do that earlier in the season. They were obviously tired from the Penguin game. Why did Sather have them go up to Buffalo Friday night? They got into the hotel at 1 AM!! Also, the Sabres had it turned up for their prospective new owner, Tom Golisano. Bad circumstantces, good effort. Posted by: mhurley on February 17, 2003 05:25 PMPost a comment
