OK.....I'll play along. If the Rangers hope to gain ground on that elusive playoff birth, they must win tonight in Colorado. As Holik said, these last two games mean nothing if they can't continue to play winning hockey. I would not be surprised to see a strong effort. The Avs are a top tier team and we do seem to at least show up with some passion in these types of games.
Cheap beer, an empty house and a big game......ahhhhhhhh. I think I'll cook that big steak too.
Some of you have been watching all the games today.....read about 'em on the boards. Things got a bit weird as we had to root for the Isles and the Devs. Ack !

Good article on hate and the lack thereof. Makes you understand why a guy like Bobby Holik is so effective, because he doesn't have any friends in the league. From experience it is tougher to take a game seriously unless there is an element of hate for who you're playing against. But on the other end some of my best friends post-game are guys that I jab and spar with all game long.
Appreciate a guy like Matt Barnaby. Barnaby's best friend is Rob Ray, who he fights with every game he plays against Buffalo.
