Todays game on ABC could be a great one. I don't want to start a panic but I don't like this game.....afternoon, on ABC against the Devs in a must win....could be ugly. I hope not, but you can understand why I'm thinking this way.

Newsday - Sather reiterated his belief, stated three weeks ago when the Messier-LaCouture-McCarthy fourth line was formed and played very well, that the Rangers need 12 forwards rolling to make the playoff run a success. "I wanted to see [Thursday] if we could get by [the Senators] with three lines," he said, "even though I still think we need four to win."
I'm puzzled by that statement. If he thinks we need 4 lines to win, why in the hell would he try 3 against the Sens ?

Oh, I see.....he's a gambler. OK.
Post - Desperation dogs both the Rangers and Devils this afternoon. One is getting it together almost too late, the other falling apart just when it begins to matter.

Strange Brew has been my favorite movie since I was 13 (1983) and the line you quoted is my favorite line in the whole movie(except "THe power of the force stopped you, you knobs!"). :-D
Doug's whole dialog as they are driving to the "party" is so hilarious....even when he knows he is going to crash into the drink.
Whenever I think of them in that van underwater with the stickers of all the hockey teams on the window and Bob, Doug & Rosie passing the beer bottle back and forth, I just die laughing!
