Over the last ten days or so....my connection from home would drop about once every five minutes.....real annoying and it was screwing up my work. So, I called Cablevision, reported the problem.....delt with a moron on the phone and finally set up an appointment for a sevice call. I expected the worst.
Rich, the cable guy.....showed up when he said he would....and then fixed the problem. I'm thrilled. Turns out, he's a Rangers fan to boot ! Major thanks to you dude....and my daughter thanks you too.
Since I'm at it.....Sue and Rusty also deserve major thanks.....and they know why. Never in the history of mankind have I owed so much....to anyone.
How many of you stayed up late on Thursday to see the five OTs ? The Ducks did it again eh ! We'll see if they can do it again today.....BTW: The fans in Dallas applauded both teams after the Ducks goal in the fifth OT, a very classy act.
To steal a George Carlin line.....watching the Devs and Bolts is like watching flies copulate. Boring doesn't even begin to describe that snoozefest. ABC must be thrilled to broadcast game two today. It should be the ratings equivilent of Fishing with Fred, a boring and ficticious show about fishing.
Oh Baby.....how 'bout them Nucks eh ? Say what you will about how that game was called.....a win is a win.
The ledgendary Red Fisher - I must admit I did not see the end of Thursday's Anaheim-Dallas opener - mostly because I was put to sleep by the start of the New Jersey-Tampa Bay series.
BTW.....that sound you hear is that of the Flyer fans, whining. I still view Ottawa as a perenial playoff failure due to their lack of a physical game, and the Flyers will rebound and win the series but it's still fun to watch the Flyers lose. If The Sens can get past the Cryers....then maybe they will have earned my respect. Until then.....they are still wimpy.

One more thing.....the Blueshirt Bulletin published the Mike Richter column I wrote a while back. I'm not sure If I thanked them or not....so, thanks. Why not visit their site and see what they offer online ?
