I love to talk hockey.....but first we need to talk about other matters. The one thing I can't stand is when players personal stuff gets dragged into the media. That said.....Marty Broduer popping his sister in law.....geeze, that's something eh ? Now I haven't seen a picture of this woman, but I have seen Marty's wife on TV. Maybe he didn't marry the hot one in the family.....well, maybe the sister is even hotter. Yeah, that's better.
Marty and his Devils went to OT but got past the Bolts to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Neither Marty's wife or Mathieu Schneider were in attendance.....Hmmmmmm.
As the peeps are found of saying on the boards......QUACK ! The Ducks strike again. I'm no Dallas fan......but the Ducks going to the Conference finals just doesn't sound right.
Now I know I need time away from this game.....the US lost to Denmark at the worlds. Now I never pay any attention to the worlds, I mean....who cares about a hockey tourny that takes place DURING the NHL playoffs ? However, losing to the Danes is quite embarassing.
Broken sticks......it's really getting very annoying.
Uncle Larry from the Post takes a shot at Barry Melrose......an easy target.
John Davidson was doing color during yesterday's ABC broadcast.....along with Bill Clement and Gary Thorne. Did anyone else scratch their head when Clement vocalized an "Oh Baby" ? Don't steal JD's signature dude....it's just not done. At least don't use it while he's sitting right next to you.
