Tampa, Fla.......the home of the largest playoff crowd ever. The place where for the first time ever, a second round playoff game was played. My Dad had tix for game seven vs. the Caps and of course, didn't get to use them. Well, he got to use his tix last night. And he got to see the home team win. I haven't been able to do that since 1997.......damn.
Hard hitting d-man Scott Stevens was forced out of the game early with an "upper body injury". Man....I've been hit with pucks....but in the pads, the mask or in a fleshy part of the body. Stevens took it right in the face. Ouch. The charges that this was done on purpose are just plain silly.
Speaking of the Devs.....Uncle Larry has a column on Larry Robinson and the Rangers.
The Ducks have lost for the first time in this years playoffs.....no way I expected to write that this late in the tourny.
Anyone else looking forward to tonight's games ? The Flyers have promised to put a beating on the Sens and the 'Nucks can't let the Wild get even in the series. Both games are must sees with one begining at 7pm and the other at 8pm here in the east.
Our 275th member registered on the boards as he finally had a reason to post.....scary clowns. Well, it does say "Anything Goes".
