It's A Power Play Goal
Wednesday - April 30, 2003
All the goals scored came on special teams.....3 for the 'Nucks and only 2 for the Wild. Todd Bertuzzi continues on his quest for receiving penalty minutes in the most consecutive playoff games in NHL history. He's batting 1000% so far. The Flyers and Sens went to OT.....but the Sens scored early in the extra period erasing any chance of one of those classic multi OT games. Instead of the pounding that Philly promised to put on the Sens......they are now behind in the series. I wonder what Bobby Clarke is thinking right now ? Tampa and the Devs trade barbs in the press and will line up for game four in Tampa tonight. I wish I had one of those HD-TVs to take advantage of the ESPN broadcast....if you have that, send me a note on how it is. Roy has one year remaining on his contract, the Avs' option for $8.5 million. That is why he will NOT retire.....that and he's still better than most other keepers in the NHL and I bet he can't resist another shot at a cup. John Buccigross is handing out love for the Ducks. Slam has a story on how Broduer's private life shouldn't be a story. That's kinda funny if you think about it. Denis Ball, a former assistant general manager with the New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues, has died. The US didn't win a single game at the worlds.....while Canada moves on. ----}- Posted by Bird at April 30, 2003 10:33 AMeMail this entry! Comments
