Congrats to the Wild, they made history and played a hell of a game. Vancouver played well too....but each time the Wild had the slightest of chances they drove it home. That's it for me folks.....I'm out.
I'll pop in a bit from time to time and we do have that Larry Brooks interview coming up soon but it's officially off-season for me. Oh, I'll watch a few games, maybe most of 'em. But I can't root for any of the teams left. I have no interest in any of these four teams.....so it's just for the hockey. And that may not be enough for me to schedule family events around the games.
Back to tonight's thrilling game, it sure looked like the Nucks had it under control. They pounded the Wild at every chance. Vicious hitting, hard skating..this was a really fun game to watch. The first goal by Minnesota was tapped in mid air as it floated over the net, from behind. The hockey gods had it in their minds to help the Wild when they could. And the Wild themselves took care of the rest. Down 2-0 to score four consecutive goals, on the road in a game seven.....well you just have to love that. Congrats again to the Wild and their fans. As A lifetime Rangers fan.....I'm jealous of you......lucky bastards.
