It is with great sadness that I must remind you of the final game of this hockey season. it will be an exciting finish to a pretty crappy season for us Ranger fans. I had the Devs winning the cup all along so I have to stick with that....and they are at home. But I won't be surprised if the Ducks pull it off, nor should you be.
There are a few news items to get to but first I wish to remind you of the interview we have with Evan Jansen, pro scout. You find things such as this..."Nate Guenin is well, nasty. He hits like a 18 wheeler and he makes tape to tape passes to get the rush started. Besides Tyutin, he is your best defensive prospect and I see him as a solid # 4 guy maybe even top 3."

Along the same lines is this from faceoff.com, "I can't talk to anybody because I have no idea what his contract status is with the Red Wings. And hell, why would Scotty want to come back one year after he announced his retirement? Does he miss it?" - Glen Sather
I don't get the impression that's it's the last we hear on this but at least this is clear, Scotty does not want to coach the Rangers or anyone else. So....now what ? I wouldn't waste time trying to talk Scotty into it. I think Slats has to do this himself.
