Space Ghost Coast to Coast
Monday - June 23, 2003
I got a few minutes last night to watch a few cartoons....Space Ghost had a cool Skynyrd reference......I dig that. We will be putting the finishing touches on our conversation with Artimus Pyle very soon. Let's just dig into the news as I can find it. I'm not sure.....but I think the sun is out....been a while. Daily News - "No, I haven't spoken to Ted Nolan," Sather said. "I think Ted will be fine, he's just got to get back into the league. ... He hasn't been around for a while." Newsday - Rangers general manager Glen Sather answered "maybe" to the question of whether he will have a new coach by the end of the week. He said he will speak with Larry Robinson again in the next few days. Canada.com - "I'm not at all surprised," said Milbury, who used to own draft day with blockbuster deals. "I'm surprised by the lack of conversation. I can't find a dance partner." It's always fun to read Milbury quotes. And while I'm at it.....Bobby Clarke displayed zero class when making his first round pick on Saturday. He didn't acknowledge the Nashville org, didn't congratulate the cup winners and he didn't even mention Roger Neilson who passed away that morning. Bobby still acts the way he played.....without class. Posted by Bird at June 23, 2003 10:51 AMeMail this entry! Comments
