The Rodent Makes Me Dizzy
Thursday - July 10, 2003

Stars & Bars on my mask

mask
I want to thank those of you from the Skynyrd community for stopping by for the Artimus interview. This is a hockey site....that's right, ICE HOCKEY ! Some of you may have seen the game on TV.....if you haven't, please do. I think you'll like it. Oh....if you do decide to give the game a shot....you must hate the Islanders, Devils and Flyers. It's part of being a Rangers fan ;-)

The Hockey Rodent has a new column that includes big numbers and pictures. I'm having my lawyer analyze it for me.

The NY Times has more words on the passing of Roman. I'm not buying this story that he off-ed himself because he couldn't make the Ranger roster......after this coming camp, maybe. But before it even starts ? Nope....something else was going on here IMO.

CTNow - Wolf Pack captain Ken Gernander finds it unfathomable that teammate Roman Lyashenko committed suicide last weekend.

I rarely visit the Hockey News anymore, but did today. they have a funny piece on possible promos to help the game. - "Reporters' Night Beat writers who coach the teams they cover through the papers will stand behind the bench for a night. Frankly, I think the Rangers probably would have been better off hiring Larry Brooks over Bryan Trottier last summer, but what do I know? Anyway, the coaches will sit in the press box for this game and will be responsible for filing stories. Let's see how they like waiting to get into the dressing room after the game while trying to meet deadlines."

Do you read the Blueshirt Bulletin ? They published one of our articles so it's only fair that I post their link once in a while. Stop by and tell 'em Bird sent you.

Kevin, our buddy from Colorado who runs the swetgard.com site sent us this Denver Post article calling for the NHL to step in and cancel the contracts of Selane and Kariya. I'll go out on a limb and say the article was not well recieved in the Denver area.
