This has to make you wonder......do Mr. Brooks souces feed him this stuff on purpose to make Larry look bad ? Or,.....maybe Mr. Brooks just makes stuff up. I'm still trying to figure out why Larry wants Pete from Uniondale as an assistant. I'm unclear on what makes this such a "must" move and how the current assistants are so bad for the team. Perhaps Larry will tell us someday.

I think perhaps Larry is told to "sell newspapers" and therefore GREATLY embellishes anything that is of the slightest rumor. I know from experience, particularly this time of year, that I can count on a Larry Brooks "speculation" article that has very little basis in fact and is mere opinion and conjecture. He probably also loves all the coverage the Canadian press gives his articles! Don't necessarily believe all you read from Larry Brooks!!!!!
