The Rodent talks about the new WHA as well as a few other juicy tidbits.
IMO, I think this could be kinda cool. Bobby Hull as the commish.....and the league comes into the light just as the NHL goes dark. That's not a coincidence my friends. I have been a loyal NHLer for over 30 years now......but I'm open to a new pro league. As I see it, the league would bring us hockey while the NHL is arguing about how to pay it's players and serve as a testing ground for some new rule changes. Then it would be absorbed by the NHL along with the things that worked well.

I just got off the phone with a WHA2 league official (the minor league for the WHA) and we will work on getting an interview with someone there. My hope would be to talk to Mr. Hull at some point. Those of you who live down south, it looks like you'll have plenty of hockey to go see.
