Another Party ?
Sunday - July 20, 2003
I'm still recovering from yesterday and last night....but we're off to yet another party. I guess summer is not so bad after all. Let's take a quick look around and then I'm outta here. The Rodent - You are here because you want my take on the reorg. Frankly, I am fine with it if Renney is fine with it. Daily News - The Daily News has learned that Tom Renney will be named the Rangers' top assistant coach in the next couple of days. And his job description will be the one Brooks pitched to Glen Sather for himself last summer: Renney will plan and run most practices, turn Sather's grand vision into Xs and Os and detailed game plans and then turn the team back over to the president and GM, who will run the bench during games. NY Post - In order for the Rangers to have any chance of erasing this seemingly indelible six-year smudge on the logo, Kovalev has to be the lynchpin of the attack. It's up to Sather to find the way to draw the best out of Kovalev, the same way it's up to Sather to find the way to draw the best out of Anson Carter. The Big man Peter Worrell is now an Av. I'm sure there is other stuff....but I have to fly....check the boards, someone is always posting a new link to keep the peeps informed. Posted by Bird at July 20, 2003 09:55 AMeMail this entry! hi, I'm commenting to to invite HockeyBird.com to be listed at my newly opened hockey directory allHEART! (http://hockey.obliviousmind.net). My goal is to build all of us hockey fans out there a place to find other hockey related sites. And since HockeyBird seems like a well established, well respected hockey blog on the web, I'd very much like to have your blog listed at allHEART!. If you are interested, please check out the directory and consider submitting your site. A link back to the listing will NOT be required. Thank you. Posted by: Lisa on July 20, 2003 08:26 PMI did a search for talk about sports as I am looking for information on where Halifax Mooseheads players lived and the history about them and their culture. We have and have had hockey players from all over the world play with the local hockey team here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I am researching anyone who has played in the past and the present for the Halifax Mooseheads hockey team. As I was web surfing, going from one topic to the next I came upon your website as I was looking for hockey blogs, as I thought about creating a blog on the Halifax Mooseheads hockey team. Anyways I read your blog to see if you had any information on how to operate a blog. Post a comment
