One of the great things about hockey is of course, the Stanley Cup. It's long history....and the wonderful stories about the players and what they go though to get it. There are also the stories about what happens after they get it. Strip clubs, dips in the pool, the feeding dogs and horses out of it, I'm sure you've heard a few of them.
Well, recently, the Cup was lost on route to the Czech Republic. My first reaction was that maybe our buddy from Praque, Coat stole it. But no, they have since found it.
Slam also has some words on a kid goalie who is huge and shows little if any net.
From the WHA2 headquarters....."The WHA2 will ice six teams for the 2003 – 2004 season and play a 21 week, 60 game schedule. The Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, Orlando Seals will open training camps with player physicals no later than October 25th. The first regular season games will be on Friday, November 7, 2003."
If any of you plan on seeing some of these games, let me know....I'm intersted in how it goes.

Right under the Hockeybird label on the top of the page it states it clearly...READ ABOUT THE NEW YORK RANGERS AND THE NHL...It does not say read about the New York Rangers and the NHL and Birds family, friends and hobbies. They have sites for those too, HOMETOWN AOL. I hear the 12 year olds like them, you can use them to fight with the RFC too where i will be going soon for my NEWS...

I read the site because its a great concept which i give bird full credit for. Its a great layout for news on the rangers and around the league. Its much better than the other sites like the dreaded RFC. I like the Rodent but thats all of the writers i read except for the Report Card which rules when i rarely miss a game. I dont know what others think of the writers.
OK lets try it this way.
Who here is really interested in stuff like the RFC feud or the WHA and WHA2? Does anyone really care?

You should lay off the Caps lock button, it'll probably just piss people off and end up starting a feud much like the RFC one you had no interest in reading about.
