A quick tour of the Ranger news I missed in my AM update...

The Daily News talks about Chris Simon and his willingness to still drop the gloves.

Newsday has an article on the Rangers' defensive pairings.

The Rangers play at the Blue Jackets tonight, 7PM. If you go to the Blue Jackets webpage and look under their broadcast schedule, they do list the game being broadcast on the internet tonight. I wouldn't take that as a lock, though, because pre-season internet broadcasts can be sketchy. I assume you'll be able to hear the game through that link tonight, but don't be surprised if you can't.

Finally, for a good laugh, check out this article on Radek Dvorak from the Edmonton Sun via Slam.

"The last year-and-a-half wasn't good for me," Dvorak said. "I had injuries, and there was no confidence. A lot of things were going on, but it was a big relief for me when I got traded."

It was a relief for you, Radek?? Believe me, brother, your being traded was a relief for all of us.
