He Ain't Heavy, He's Manon's Brother
Thursday - October 23, 2003
His name is Pascal Rheaume and he's played for the Devils twice, plus the Blues, Blackhawks and Thrashers. He's also won a Stanley Cup, but I can't help but think of him as Manon's brother. I wonder how many times in his career he's been asked by teammates, "So, dude... I don't want to freak you out or anything... but, uh, is your sister seeing anyone right now? She's pretty hot." The Post talks a bit about Lindros' injury and has a quote or two from Manon's brother. The NY Times has a smorgasbord of topics including Lindros' injury, Dominic Moore, the repeal of Simon's match penalty from Monday night plus Manon's brother. The Daily News has some quotes that seem to indicate Manon's brother isn't all too thrilled with being on the Rangers: "My first option was to re-sign with the Devils," Rheaume said after his first Rangers practice yesterday at the Garden. "But I think stuff happened with my agent and I - we had some miscommunication. But there's nothing we can do about it now, it's over." Newsday talks about - guess who? - Manon's brother. The Star Ledger reports Lindros saying he'll be back soon enough and doesn't want Manon's brother to get too comfortable. He also reportedly asked if Manon was seeing anyone at the moment. For some strange reason the Journal News does not talk about Manon's brother, but they do have an interesting article on the Rangers' practice in Central Park's Wollman Rink yesterday, plus memories from Poti, Mironov and Sather on playing on outdoor ice in their youth. "Dude, seriously, you know I'm not a jerk. Is she home now? Can I call her?" - Rocha Posted by pete at October 23, 2003 06:45 AMeMail this entry! Comments
Well if Dunham goes down with an injury, we know that Manon is available. :c) Posted by: RangersFan99 on October 23, 2003 08:19 AMPost a comment
