Former Ranger Darren Langdon

langdon

Well now....the kids come through for the Rangers eh ? Jamie Lundmark had his second good game in a row and Dominic Moore made his NHL debut and grabbed two assists.

Make no mistake....this was clearly a Mike Dunham win. Sure, two power play goals and five scores all together were fun to watch but the Dude was strong. His play made up for the few mistakes the Rangers made allowing them to take advantage of a weak Montreal club.

I don't know about you but it sure was nice to see Darren Langdon out there. I miss that guy.....he was a good Ranger and I'm told the pride of Newfoundland. 5-1 was the final, here's the box.

There will not be a card tonight and that's a shame as there were plenty of good efforts which would have masked any of the bad gaffs made, and there were a few of those.

By the way....big props out to Sather and the coaching staff for rewarding the kids along with Simon and Barnaby with power play time. That's going to go a long way in helping these guys become a team. Now let's see how they do against the Western conference teams beginning with the Avs tomorrow at 5pm.

Here in NY it's Giants vs. Jets at 1pm....then the Rangers at 5....I'm hoping for a good day.
