Brian Leetch Is Not Dead
Sunday - November 02, 2003
This is a good test to determine if what we have witnessed so far is something we can really feel good about. The Avs have been picked by a lot of folks to win a cup. They sure have some marquee line-up. We'll add to our list of names as Brian Leetch returns to the ice at MSG. Here's the Rodent.....because we can. Newsday - Despite taking a penalty with his team a man down, Bobby Holik continued to be his grating, effective self. He's at his best when every opponent wants to kill him. Newsday again - "I kind of want to be the P. Diddy of Canada," the Toronto native said with no trace of arrogance. Daily News - "These are the teams we have to bury," center Petr Nedved said, referring to the Rangers' 3-0-1-0 record against Montreal, Carolina and Florida. "So this was a huge game." Stop me right here......NY Post writer Larry Brooks has a positive article. There is now hope for peace in the middle east. Here's Larry's Slap Shots. NY Times - Without Lindros, the Rangers dressed Moore for the first time. "Mr. Sather said before the game, `There's one rule: Have fun,' " Moore said. "That's what I tried to do." Moore, who graduated from Harvard over the summer, centered a fourth line with LaCouture and Lundmark. Star-Ledger - "Mike was good again tonight," Sather said. "He's tracking the puck as well as anybody right now." Journal News - Phil Esposito doesn't hide his motivation for writing an autobiography. Reminder: Game time is 5pm so you have time to watch the Giants and Jets mix it up at the Meadowlands. We'll see you after the Rangers - Avs. ----}- Bird Posted by Bird at November 02, 2003 09:37 AMeMail this entry! Comments
