A Night To Remember
Tuesday - November 04, 2003

Not only did the Rangers - without four of their best players - blank the Stars by a score of 3-0, Messier picked up two goals to pass Gordie Howe for #2 all-time in NHL scoring. What else to say besides this was one of the most enjoyable Ranger games in a long time.

Here's what I had to say in the Report Card and here's the Rodent.

I've gone from hoping not to lose to expecting to win! Somehow, this frightens me but, right now, I'm going with it. And major cheers to the Big Guy!
Enjoy, everyone, and thanks to HockeyBird for being there for all of us.

Love to see the GA down to be at least somewhere near the rest of the league, but one has to wonder whether Lindros and Nedved can really be considered as two of "their best players".
