Oil Slick
Monday - November 10, 2003
With the Oil in town tonight it's not a big surprise that Newsday talks about possible trades. After all, it seems we always have a least one trade with Edmonton each season, right ? Newsday is discussing offers made for recent Oiler pick ups, Tom Poti and Anson Carter. They don't mention who made the offers or who would be coming in return. Where are those damn un-named sources when you need 'em ? The Daily News has a story on Sather and Refs. The Journal News talks about the kids, Lundmark and Moore. The article also had this: It didn't take long once the Panthers fired Mike Keenan yesterday for speculation to begin in Florida as to whether the well-traveled coach's next move would be back to the Rangers. Sather, who reportedly had been interested in Keenan in the past, even joked about it yesterday. But the move makes no sense, since the Rangers are playing much better with the new defensive system that Sather and assistant Tom Renney installed in training camp. More on Keenan from Slam. Keenan stuff from TSN. Oh...one more thing, you may want to visit this place. It's a sports blog all about Sports Blogs. They even list Hockeybird. If you are a fan of these kinds of sites then Sports Blogs is a must read each day. You can scan the most recent headlines from the best sports blogs available....oh, and us too. See ya tonight ! ----}- Bird Posted by Bird at November 10, 2003 10:00 AMeMail this entry! Comments
