As has been pointed out by others, we play the Leafs 28 times in the next 11 days. A home and home begins tonight at MSG and then after visiting Toronto Tuesday eve we get our first look at the Islanders. I believe that it's safe to say that this will be a good hockey week.
Since it's the end of the month, I'd like to thank all of you for making November the best stats month in the history of Hockeybird. No, we don't get ESPN numbers....but there sure are a lot of you stopping by here.

Kerry Fraiser will work his 1500th game tonight at MSG. That's about 3000 bad calls when you figure two for each game.
Star-Ledger - After Jussi Markkanen's 20-save performance in the Rangers' 4-1 victory over the Penguins on Friday, a Pittsburgh reporter asked the goaltender if he felt any chemistry on his line. "Well, that's kind of a hard question," a slightly confused Markkanen replied.
