Rangers fall to Tampa Bay

I'm still pretty steamed about yesterdays loss. Tampa was a club that was ripe for the taking and the Rangers didn't take. I'd love to tell you it was this or that, blame the refs or the ice.....call the Bolts cheaters, anything. But the truth is that the Rangers are not as good as Tampa Bay. They figured out a way to win on a night that they weren't that good. The Rangers looked to be the dominant club and yet lost.

What does that tell you ?

NY Times - "You can't blame the refs for that game," Sather said after the Rangers squandered two leads in a 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. "We gave it away."

ESPN - The Bolts arrived about six hours before the puck dropped and held off the Rangers, who hadn't played since a road win against the local Islanders on Thursday.
