This is not the first time I feel like I wasted a good Saturday night. As Ranger fans, we do this a lot. While I did enjoy the wonderful goaltending displayed by Lalime.....it resulted in a Ranger loss. It's not like the team didn't try, they did. But try as they may, when he needed to save his team, Lalime came up big. The Rangers did not.
Not much you can do about this one.....but it's clear to me, on this night the Senators were the better team. The Rangers out-shot the Sens 25-23 and had the better of play more often than not. But this game is measured in goals....we couldn't score, they did.
I really think I'm begining to lose interest. I'm not upset at all. And I lied, this night is not wasted.....I have beer and a fine woman. Now, ....if I can only get her to drink some beer..........

Here's the Rodent using the term "good loss". I think he's right.....but I am so finished with that. BTW: The Rodent doesn't use Crayons as I mentioned earlier....he uses Sharpies, the ultimate in "geek-chic" marking devices. Did you know that The SHARPIEŽ Fine Point marker expanded to eight colors in 1979.
I didn't.....but the Rodent did. Geek.

Okay. You really need to stop associating anybody carrying a sliderule with the term "geek".
"Geek" should be reserved for anybody who actually KNOWS how to use a slide rule.
I just carry one per my endorsement deal with Pickett. Same thing with Shapies. I don't truly know how to use one. But I must carry them per my endorsement deal.
