Sleeping Rocha
Thursday - January 08, 2004

Our Buddy, Pete "Da Card" Rocha was scheduled to make a news post today but since he's yet to appear I thought I'd get you the locals as we do have a game tonight against the 'Canes and Pete will be busy doing a card later tonight.

Newsday talks about the Dude working with a *gulp* goalie coach. You hardly ever hear about Sam St. Laurent but I guess this means he really does exist. Let's hope Dunham can get his groove back.

The Post checks in with yet another writer (Larry has had more guest writers than I have this year) and he tells us how important these next few games are.

The Journal News say more of the same....but with greater detail and also talks about a Messier conference call.

The Star-Ledger also talks about how important the January games are for this team.

Slam bashes Lindros. Ok, whatever.

If you are a fan of goaltenders then you are already aware that Brian Boucher broke a 55 year old record in his four consecutive shut-outs. Now that is a hot streak, eh ?

The guy who was claiming to be an NHL star is guilty. When I first read the headline I thought they were talking about me as sometime I make my playing career out to be more than it was. ;-)

See ya tonight.
