There's no more anger on my part. It's something else.....a numbness. I can't even bring myself to read the locals although I did pop over to the Post to read Larry Brooks. If you really need to read the rest I'm sure you know where to find them.

Tie Domi continues to get headlines....this time he was fined for his actions which were pretty funny if you ask me.
Dan Cloutier did his impersonation of me.....punching Petro at the end of a game because....well, because he lost the game. I had to stop that behavior as it's not a very nice thing to do.....but I understand Dan's frustration.
Dan was also mentioned in the latest Birdcage article which has nothing to do with hockey....it's about some of the great bands I was lucky enough to work with years ago.
I guess I have to at least talk about Pang's comments yesterday on Holik. He basically repeated words from a website that claimed Bobby has no balls. In addition he pointed out the obvious chant in Philly yesterday as being "Rangers Suck". I didn't think that ABC was thrilled with either comment being broadcast on the air and Darren has got some nerve talking about a player of Holik's stature when considering Darren's own NHL career. Why would someone who doesn't fight suddenly decide to drop the gloves to take on an NHL heavyweight like Brashear ? To gain the respect of Darren Pang ? Silly if you ask me.
Tomorrow at 1pm the Rangers are home for Ottawa. Yup, I'll tune in and cover it for you right here on Hockeybird.....although I'm not sure why right now. Force of habit maybe ?

I railed against Terrell Owens when he pulled that nonsense w/the Sharpie last yr and I really don't see any difference here w/Domi. I'd hate to see the NHL go the way of the NFL. He should be fined. Guess I'm just a stuffed shirt when it comes too this kind of showboating.
