Earlier this season I was kinda hard on the kid. He didn't have a great showing against the Avs and I decided to write about it. Now, keep in mind that the team in front of him let him down in a big way that night too. But he wasn't good and I said so.
Last night Jason got his first NHL win. I couldn't be any happier. He has set records in the AHL this season for shutouts and our Wolf*Pack reporter Heather has been telling me that Jason is better....much better than what I saw in November. Guess she was right.
Well....I also hear that Jason reads Hockeybird. If you are reading this.....major pat on the back to you dude....You won an NHL game. That's something I never got to do.....I'm proud and happy. May you have many, many more. As a bonus, he assisted on the game winner !

News in the morning.....I hope. My house will be filled with WLIR fans looking to buy my record collection. I'll try and squeeze in some news and links though....you guys deserve it for being the best hockey fans on the web.
