Sportsnet has learned defenceman Vladimir Malakhov has been sent to the Philadelphia Flyers for prospect Rick Kozak and a 2005 second round pick.

TSN Trade deadline - These guys are pretty quick.
Slam NHL trades - Pretty good, not as fast as TSN.
Sportsnet.ca - The fastest to get on a story....but sometimes they jump the gun, which can be fun.
The boards are all heated up with Ranger talk/complaints.
Finally, I just heard from a guy most of you should know....Scott Ferral. He was on WFAN for a bit when his show was syndicated and even scored a Letterman appearance. I loved his show.....the guy is a huge hockey fan and digs the rough stuff along with the occasional adult beverage. He was doing Thrasher's hockey but now does a show in Atlanta and can also be heard with ManCow in Chi-town in the mornings. Check out his site....I'm trying to con him into an interview for Hockeybird. Hey, just because Jim Dolan won't come on with us doesn't mean Ferral won't.....I hope.
