**Matthew and our own Rightbug at Camp this past fall in Vermont**

This website was started many years ago as more of a goof than anything else and somehow has evolved into something much bigger than I ever planned for. You, the readers have given myself and the other writers much joy and we thank you.

Now, since most of us are Rangers fans I wish to share some cool stuff with you. He didn't ask me to do this....but I can't imagine he'd mind. This morning I got e-mail from an ex-Ranger expressing thanks for our support here at Hockeybird. He even posted on the NYR.com message boards with similar sentiments.

Matthew Barnaby really enjoyed playing here in NY and it's obvious that he understands the passion we have for the team and it's players. For him to contact us and post on the NYR message boards really shows what playing here meant to him. Matt has agreed to do an interview for the Birdcage so I'll be sure and let you know when that goes down.

Thanks for the effort and passion Matt and thanks for visiting Hockeybird.com....hope to see you back here next season. In the mean time.....go get 'em Dude !

Awesome, Bird...definitely keep us posted. BTW, does anyone know if you can still e-mail Barns off his site? The stories he has posted on the front page are almost a year old.
