Playoffs, Part Two
Thursday - April 22, 2004
Before we get into the playoffs, let's link to Heather and her latest update from the Wolfpack's second playoff game (Balej scores again!). I was hoping to see frequent On The Farm's with so many Rangers and potential Rangers playing for them right now, and Heather is coming through. Bird should give her a raise. Round 2 kicks off tonight with three matchups. We have... Toronto @ Philadelphia, 7:30 (ESPN2/CBC) If last season's series was any indication, Toronto/Philly might be the most entertaining match up the playoffs have to offer in any round. I'll be glued to that one. A bunch of random playoff links: SI's Jon Dolezar breaks down the four series and picks his winners. Here's a nice Round 2 schedule for you, print it out and tape it on the fridge. Al Morganti rambles on about some crap, including possibilities for the Rangers next coach. Oh yeah. You've probably seen it already but the NHL released the finalists for the awards yesterday. You can see the list here (scroll down to the bottom). And over here, seven ESPN analysts make their own picks for who should get the trophies. Bill Clement breaks down: Brian Engblom breaks down: TSN has a Conn Smythe (playoff MVP) trophy watch. Interesting. - Rocha Posted by pete at April 22, 2004 03:28 AMeMail this entry! Comments
