The Bolts put a 4-0 beating on Les Habs in game one last night with some Hockeybird readers in attendance. Rumor has it that a post game celebration included Molson Golden.....and it was good.

Today there are two games both scheduled at 3pm. Both the Sharks and Flames have a 1-0 series lead over their opposition.

St Pete Times - But it is the Lecavalier-St. Louis connection that is so engaging. Both grew up in the suburbs of Montreal idolizing the Canadiens; St. Louis in Laval and Lecavalier in Ile Bizard.

Mike Danton will plead not guilty. This whole story is just to weird to comment on until some more facts surface.....but it's truly bizarre based on what has been released.

The story about former NFL player Pat Tillman serves as a reminder that many are putting their lives on the line in the war on terror. Tillman's decision to join up and pass on his NFL career shows that there are true Americans who understand lifes priorities, ignoring money and danger for what he believed in.

So I made it to Florida....took that picture at 6:30am this past Sunday as I crossed the state line. 22 hours door to door.....it's a drive everyone should do at least once. It's even better when there is no return trip planned.

So....I get ESPN on the TV, high-speed internet and there are TWO ice rinks within a half hour's drive. And yes.....they do sell beer down here. I think I'm going to like this place.

Hey Bird- The only thing bad about Florida IS the Beer. Don't they have a limit on alcohol % ?
I guess you'll just have drink more...
