Bolts Continue To Win
Monday - April 26, 2004

Some Dude keeps sending this after each Lightning win

You know the saying....you can't stop 'em, you can only hope to contain them. Tampa is on a nice little run here and the Canadians have no answer for what the Bolts are throwing at them. The same can be said about the Leafs as they too are now down two games to none.

The Flyers - Leafs game was great to watch. The hitting, the saves and the fact that the game wasn't decided until late (I thought Toronto would tie it) made it a classic playoff game.

The Rodent has a pleth.....um, a lot of stuff to consume. Don't ask but I'm not allowed to use the P word.

Here's a link to the latest Pack article (free registration) but it's old. It's a good thing for the Wolf Pack and Pirates that the ice at the Cumberland County Civic Center wasn't available Saturday because of an Elton John concert. Neither side needed to see a rink after playing 88:28 Friday night before Jozef Balej's power-play goal gave the Pack a 2-1 victory in the fourth-longest game in team history.

The Pack won last night too and have a commanding lead in the series. You can expect a new On The Farm soon.

Tampa 3 - Montreal 1

Flyers 2 - Leafs 1

The Sharks will try and make it three in a row tonight at 8pm and if Matt Barnaby wasn't on the Avs I'd be cheering hard for the Sharks.

Slam - Austria whipped France 6-0 in their opener Saturday. Other than Divis, the only other NHL player is New York Rangers defenceman Thomas Pock, the son of the Austrian head coach.

Slam again - THE QUESTION never has been appropriately answered: Exactly what is the connection between Bob Goodenow and David Frost?

No CBA ? No Olympics then. So there.

More later....maybe

I can't believe how popular Molson Golden is. It's one of the worst beer's I've ever tasted. Must be me.
