I actually hate that song but it's an apt theme for today.
First, we've got The Rodent, who proposes ushering in a new era of officiating with Robot Referees or something of that sort.
Next, there's the Wolfpack. There series against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is all tied up. The Hartford Courant is a well spring of information. In one article we learn that weller regrets having taken a bad penalty, Cory Larose has an "ailment" and that Ryan McGill is not commenting on the Rangers coaching position, stating that he's got enough to worry about right now.
Game 5 is tonight in Hartford, 7:00 on FSNY.
Rumors are also flying of a new beginging for several familiar faces in Florida. Namely, Mike Keenan is suspected to be announced as The Panthers new GM with one of our favored candidates for the Rangers coaching position, Jacques Martin, choosing Florida over New York. Just rumors but you can read emotional debate on this subject on the boards.
Last but not least, The Stanley Cup Finals start tonight! I'm not going to try linking to every story on the subject as there's one at every site on the Internet and I don't have tiome to read them all. Instead, I'll just give you my standard links to the perspective from Calgary and from Tampa Bay.
This is the first Stanley Cup Finals in a while where I like both teams and have no strong preference who wins. There are a lot of Bolts fans and/or Tampa area residents on the boards who are planning on attending. Indeed, our host, the Bird himself will be there.
