I speak, of course, of yesterday's stunning announcement by WFAN. Regular listeners of The FAN will have heard the many teasers for an announcement yesterday at 5:04 that was sure to please all Ranger fans. Astute internet FAN fans might also have noticed that the FAN was planning on re-broadcasting game 7 of the Rangers Stanley Cup win last night to celebrate the 10th anniversay of the glorious event. The big announcement? Well, for those who don't read the FAN's website, they announced their plans to broadcast the game.

There's no Ranger related news today. Now that the playoffs are over, I won't be covering other random teams unless the news somehow touches on the Rangers or the league as a whole.

I don't want to get anyone overly excited, but I actually do have some fairly major news but, in true WFAN fashion, I'm going to make you wait for it. I promise you that this will be news that you have not heard anywhere else. An exclusive scoop if you will. I'll give you a hint -- it has nothing to do with Umburger. F' him. I'm not even going to check the spelling on his name. I hope he and Primeau get into a huge fight on the first day of training camp. (And before anyone chastises me about Primeau's status with the Flyers, please see my second paragraph above. F' the Flyers.)
