Today a bunch of Hockeybird readers will do the one thing we all love, play hockey. I regret not being able to come back up north to take part....but I'm there in spirit(s).

$10 Million.......for one year. The Blues are NOT looking for "cost certainty". Now Pronger is a great d-man but if teams can spend this kind of cash, why are we looking at a lockout?
I guess we'll be following Al Montoya this season....here's one guy who's happy he stayed in school. I suppose most of those who follow Big Blue are.
The Cup is back in North America......"Andreychuk, the Tampa Bay Lightning captain, made a side trip to his childhood home - where his parents still live - to carry the Stanley Cup into his old bedroom. "That was pretty cool, going back to where I grew up," Andreychuk said Friday. "Those are the things you go to bed at night thinking of doing."
Yesterday was my Dad's birthday. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you have many more. That Cup was a good gift, no?
