Over the years we have disagreed with and/or poked fun at Larry Brooks of the NY Post (we try and do so more respectfully these days). Like his writing or not you have to admit, things are better when he's spitting out columns. I'm happy to announce Uncle Larry's return from vacation and just in time. His story today is right on the money (pun intended).
If someone who knows Larry reads this, ask him why he thinks that a lot of Canadian fans are siding with the owners on this. Is it just a case of the NHL doing a better job of getting out their message or are Canadian fans truly blaming the players for this based on the players accepting large salaries offered by the owners.
Welcome back Uncle Larry, I hope you had a good vacation.
The Rodent rants about yesterdays game.
Today we have Germany vs. Sweden at 1pm on ESPN and of course tonight it's USA vs. Canada at 7pm on ESPN2.

I think I have to agree with the Larry Brooks articel.
So if the 04-05 season is dead and the league does what uncle larry says they want to do, won't that just free up all the players to go the the WHL or start there own league?
Man, i didnt think i was going to make it through august with no Brooksie. Welsome back Uncle Larry. Hope he's rested, because it should be easy picking for him in rangerland, with so many targets, he'll need to be at his best to take it to a new level.
