No Larry?
Sunday - October 10, 2004
Usually we can look forward to seeing an article from Uncle Larry in the Post each Sunday. If there is one in there today it's not linked on the Post's website. Now most of you who read Hockeybird know that over the years I have been criticle of Larry's articles. You should also know that recently I have praised Uncle Larry for hitting the nail on the head. I was hoping for another gem today......but no dice. The Rodent posts a scary image and it's not even Halloween. On The Farm is BACK!!!!! Last night the Pack played the Baby Isles and it was a whale of a game. "The Pack scored an improbable three sixth-attacker goals in the final 55 seconds of regulation, then won their first shootout on Chad Wiseman's sudden-death goal for a 4-3 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the exhibition finale for both teams." Oh no....they're gonna clean up the AHL now? I can almost hear Don Cherry making a comment about a dress. You can find more Pack stuff here. The lockout and the presidential race are both covered here by Slam. Slam also covers the working stiff. ----}- Bird Posted by Bird at October 10, 2004 10:05 AMeMail this entry! Comments
Larry wasn't in print Sunday, either--it was all Yanks all the time, plus a smattering of football. Maybe he got lost on his way to Hartford? Posted by: Andrea on October 12, 2004 09:48 AMPost a comment
