Old News
Saturday - November 20, 2004

Hey folks, welcome to another hockey-less Saturday. Well, for the NHL.....AHL fans have plenty to chew on. First, I'll cover a few old items and then look around for something new.

The Vancouver Canucks have sold half their ownership rights. That means our buddy Stan McCammon has some new people to work with. Of course, we'd need to get back to playing games before this means anything. I'll see if Stan wants to comment on the current situation for you guys here at Hockeybird but keep in mind, Bettmen has severely limited the comments from ownership.

Some NHL players will tour Europe in a series of games. That's just great. They have leagues playing in Europe.....I would like it better if they played in North America......Florida's nice this time of year.

Bill Lankhof agrees with me.....these games would be easier to palate if they were played over here.

The Rodent continues to generate record traffic with his pithy comments on hockey and life.

OK, time for us to take a look at the Pack. Jaime Lundmark scored in his first game with the Pack this year but the team lost in OT 3-2. After a great 9-0 start the Pack have struggled a bit, but I wouldn't worry.

More Pack stuff here, as always.

Several of our readers attended the fan forum at MSG this past week. Mhurley will have her story over at the Rodent's and I'm going to post Redlight24's story here at Hockeybird. Check back in a bit as I need to format the pictures he was kind enough to send in. As an added bonus, there are some pics of the girlfriends. Tell your friends.

**Update**

The Report from Redlight24 has now been posted in the Birdcage complete with the promised pics of the girlfriends......and ladies.......may I say, "You look marvelous!"
