You'd think the NHL and NHLPA were in a library with the lack of talking. Goodenow and Bettman couldn't talk less if they tried.
However, all is not lost, yet. Today is Sunday and Larry Brooks gives us the slightest hope with this, "This proposal will allow the owners peace with honor. If they want it."
Yep, the NHLPA will make an offer. Funny, I thought the Rodent pegged the future by predicting the NHL would make a non-serious offer and yet it's the PA who's making this move. Either way I still think this season is gone and we may never see NHL hockey as we remember it.

The other day I watched game 7 of the 1994 Stanley Cup semi-finals. One of the greatest games in NHL history. Broduer was simply brilliant as a 22yr old. Richter matched him though.....and Stephan Matteau scored his second winner in double OT for the series. Thanks to Redlight24 of the boards for getting me the goods.
What great hockey that was. Up and down the ice, scoring chances for each team. Man....I really miss this game.
