Time Keeps On Slipping.....
Saturday - January 08, 2005
......into the future. Tick Toc Tick. We are close to the point of no return. The Rodent explains what's happened recently with the cancelled meeting by the BOG. The National Post was told by a GM that it's over. Great, I have been meaning to take up a craft....you know, like needlepoint or something. Any suggestions? Dan Blackburn's injury is worse than we thought. Lucky for him, there's no NHL games giving him at least a chance to try and recover. The Pack won last night, 7-2. "The drills and off-ice activities coaches Ryan McGill and Nick Fotiu put together did wonders Friday night. Not only did the Pack get their most goals in nearly two years, they scored unanimous decisions in five fights with the Portland Pirates." For those of you who need that daily fix of hockey links, the BlueShirt Bulletin provides just that.....stop by and tell 'em Bird sent you. Do I really need to comment on Theo ? He was going to play in a seniors tourney but has been banned because he was under an NHL contract last season. While some would say that Theo has been unfairly treated, I say he's brought this on himself and should quit it with the "poor me" crap. I want to fly like an eagle ----}- Bird Posted by Bird at January 08, 2005 07:43 AMeMail this entry! Comments
Hey Bird! I find myself looking forward to your song references more than the hockey news these days. Maybe those guys could do a little "Abracadabra" in order to bring the NHL back?
Holy icing, Bird man!!! I took up needlepoint during the lockout! One, it keeps from turning on the tube to pick up the thread of any soap opera other than my favorite long-running saga,The Rangers and Their Misbegotten Quest to Play in May. And two, it keeps me from lighting up every ten minutes. Alas, I still miss hockey, as needlepoint is poor substitute for EXCITEMENT. Unless we can find a way to stitch Theo's mouth shut...
