The Hartford Wolf*Pack were down 4-1 last night before staging a wonderful come back. It's too bad I can't watch the games as I'd love to give you a real recap. There were about 1100 people there despite the blizzard of '05.

The Rodent continues to spit out column inches and is so widely read that he's getting national attention. He was mentioned in a recent FoxSports article......now that's cool.
Some people sent me a note complaining that we didn't cover the recent CBA meetings. I guess they didn't get the memo.....we're not covering that crap anymore. Two years of talking but not agreeing on anything is not worth covering except to say how stupid the whole situation is and to express sadness in missing out on NHL hockey. Exactly how many times and how many different ways can one do that?
Down here in Florida we're expecting a cold front and with it, some lower temps and a thunderstorm or two. Boy, the weather here can be bad at times....so how are you guys up north holding out?
Man, I've been reduced to talking about the weather.....somebody shoot me.
Again I remind you, the message boards here remain quite active with discussion on a wide variety of topics. The boards are the reason that Hockeybird remains open.
