Dan Blackburn has begun his attempt to comeback from the nasty shoulder injury he sustained. Dan is wearing a special blocker/glove instead of the normal keepers glove. I of course wish him all the best but I'm not so sure we'll see him back in the NHL with that thing. That's assuming that at some point the idiots who own the league can figure out how to actually have games played.
Dan lost 3-2. His team loses more often than it wins so I wouldn't put too much on the game. Dale Purinton, who has refused conditioning assignments in the past is now with the same ECHL team as Dan. He's the team goon.....recently ejected and suspended. I was surprised to see Dale wearing the face shield.
So, that's it folks. We'll try and figure out what we're gonna do with Hockeybird now that there is no NHL season.....stay tuned, we could become a right wing political blog OR a pRon site.....I haven't decided yet. I know, a Gary Bettman fan site......or perhaps a drinking site.
