And then there was one
Monday - March 28, 2005

One is such a lonely number. And one is the amount of New York Rangers prospects left in the NCAA men's hockey tournament.

Joey Crabb is the only remaining NYR property skating in the Frozen Four. Colorado College came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat Al Montoya's Michigan Wolverines 4-3. Crabb netted the game tying goal and recorded one assist. Montoya made 19 saves in the game, but it wasn't enough.

Colorado College will now face Denver, who beat New Hampshire to advance. The winner of that game will face the winner of the North Dakota - Minnesota match up. The games will be played on April 7th, with the championship game being played on April 9th.

Nothing new out there regarding NHL news. We are pretty much in a holding pattern right now, waiting for the NHLPA to respond to the NHL's offers.

If anything should pop up, I will be sure to pass it along.
