Short update
Monday - April 11, 2005

This is going to be a short one folks, as there isn't much out there today.

The trouble with reporting NHL news these days is that there is no NHL news these days. I mean, if you were a sports reporter in New York, and you had the Mets home opener, the Yankees having to sit around and watch the Red Sox raise their championship banner, Tiger winning his fourth Masters, and the Nets trying to make the playoffs, would you want to write about Gary Bettman and Bob Goodenow having a meal together? I didn't think so.

It isn't about hockey, but I have to link to Larry Brooks today, just because I get a kick out of reading his baseball articles. Larry is such a happy man, isn't he?

The Wolf Pack lost 2-1 last night to the Providence Bruins. I found it funny that they were issued a bench minor for profanity before the second period started. The Bruins scored a @#$!*@# goal on the ensuing power play.

I am sure the Rodent has something for you.

Maybe something positive will happen this week regarding the NHL. Don't hold your breath though.
