Hey folks, we have contacted the five winners for the free stuff contest. Four of you have responded and I expect the fifth will do so as soon as they read this and check their email. Since I'm here I want to publicly thank HDH for taking care of the news during the lockout as I grew tired of all the PR crap we were fed during the past year. We've decided to keep him on to help cover real hockey stuff for as long as he wishes. I look forward to some great columns from our writers and hope that you will continue to visit Hockeybird during the upcoming season. We'll be here to help guide you through all the player movement expected before opening night and we'll have plenty of commentary on the new rules implemented.
Don't forget to read the boards......there's always something to read even if it's just an argument in the anything goes section about politics or zombies.
