Oh Baby!
Wednesday - October 05, 2005
Down 1-3, the NY Rangers get a HUGE goal from Jaime Lundmark and somehow escape the second period. In the third it was all world #68 Jaromir Jagr who popped two goals to give the Blueshirts the lead and Hossa got the insurance goal. They took too many penalties, many of them bad ones but they did a decent job on the PK. I'd like to see a few less dumb penalties....and I'm pretty sure you can't play the puck while on the bench in any league. If you do....you must score two goals and assist on another, it's the law. 5-3 is your final. Here's the box. Folks, the Rangers are in first place. Who woulda thunk it? FYI: Eric Lindros just scored his first goal as a Leaf to give his team a 2-1 lead, hoping to avoid OT and a shootout. Ottawa tied it seconds later. Cool. Here comes the first shootout in NHL history. Heatly scores the second Sens shootout goal to lift his team over the Leafs. What a crappy way to decide a game. Pure crap. ----}- Bird Posted by Bird at October 05, 2005 10:01 PMeMail this entry! |
